The AA Trucker's Atlas is fully revised for 2026 and includes truck and ferry routes, port plans, a route planner map, a quick reference distance table, and an explanation of limited highway connections. There is also a 12-page section on London street mapping with clearly stated height, width, and weight restrictions, as well as large scale district maps of London, Birmingham, Glasgow, Manchester, and Tyne and Wear.
The mapping emphasises information relevant to truck drivers, including over 3,600 bridge heights, with the most commonly impacted rail bridges underlined. Roads with widths less than 4 metres are identified, as are road tunnels, toll roads, service areas, severe grades, level crossings, and low emission zones.
Together with Network Rail's campaign, a special section offers helpful information on preventing bridge strikes, which is a must-read for all truck drivers and other haulage sector specialists.
