Turnkey g-meter Electronic Brake Tester – DVSA Approved & MTS Compatible
£380.00
The Turnkey g-meter is a DVSA GEA-approved electronic brake tester for statutory annual MOT brake performance testing. It covers vehicle Classes III, IV, V, VI and VII in accordance with the Motor Vehicles (Tests) Regulations 1981, as amended, and can also be used for HGV testing under the Goods Vehicles (Plating and Testing) Regulations 1988. It is approved for connection to the DVSA MOT Testing System (MTS) for data transfer.
Self-aligning and self-levelling, the g-meter automatically detects the vehicle’s direction of travel with no precise positioning required. No connections to the vehicle are needed. Results are shown on a bright LED display as brake efficiency in % or deceleration in m/s². The unit stores 1 set of test results with time and date, retained when switched off, and connects to a PC via the built-in interface for result download. It also tests for secondary brakes and carries UKAS traceable calibration.
Battery and calibration-due warnings are built in. Recalibration is required every 24 months. Supplied with a 12-month warranty. For multi-result memory and software, see the Turnkey g-meter+.
