The Turnkey g-meter+ with Printer & Software is a DVSA-approved MOT brake tester for statutory annual brake performance testing of all vehicle classes (Classes I, II, III, IV, V, VI and VII) in accordance with the Motor Vehicles (Tests) Regulations 1981, as amended. It can also be used for HGV testing under the Goods Vehicles (Plating and Testing) Regulations 1988. This bundle includes the Turnkey AP1300 thermal printer, software and carry case.
Self-aligning and self-levelling, the g-meter+ automatically detects the vehicle’s direction of travel with no precise positioning required. Results are shown on a bright LED display as brake efficiency in % or deceleration in m/s². The included AP1300 printer allows test certificates to be printed on-site immediately after testing, making it well suited to garages and test centres handling high volumes. The built-in PC interface and software allow results to be downloaded and stored. The unit stores 3 sets of test results with time and date, retained even when switched off, and tests for secondary brakes. Calibration is UKAS traceable.
Battery and calibration-due warnings are built in. Recalibration is required every 24 months. Supplied with a 12-month warranty. Replacement thermal rolls are available separately.
